Shipping/Logistics Assistant
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating the necessary documents/bookings on movements in the warehouse (e.g. shipping documents, possibly export papers).
- Dispatching shipments (national, international), truck dispatch/freight space dispatch.
- Possibly support/tracking of production planning for meeting customer schedules
- Support with achievement of OTIF targets and active employee PRODUCTION SYSTEM.
- Palette management (leading and coordinating palette accounts).
- Carrying out the necessary internal and external communication.
- Assistance with stocktaking.
- Special tasks according to definition of plant-specific process instruction and instructions by superiors.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship / Associates Degree - technical or commercial
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- SAP experience
- English knowledge
Offers
The Shipping/Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring that movements within a warehouse are carried out on schedule and within cost limits. This also includes complaint/returns processing.
