As our new Sourcing Sustainability Specialist, you will be a part of our Global Sourcing Excellence Team where we are creating instant value for the business by turning our business sustainability agenda into a Sourcing program with our high impact suppliers. You will collaborate closely with many different stakeholders who are responsible for Nilfisk sustainable value chain in their own areas. Moreover, you will help to design the operating framework and do risk assessment for our direct and indirect supply chain.
Sourcing Sustainability Specialist
The Sourcing Sustainability Specialist has an overall responsibility:
- to act as the overall CSR and sustainability gatekeeper and coordinator within Strategic Sourcing and towards all key stakeholders internally and externally
- to continuously collaborate with key stakeholders to unite and align on the best direction of value-driven cross-functional sustainability initiatives that supports the main Nilfisk CSR targets and priorities (CO2 emission reductions, integration of a much higher share of recyclable materials etc.)
- to drive, monitor, report and align with Category Managers and Sourcing Project Managers on the Sustainability agenda, priorities, initiatives and build a Sustainability Sourcing Pipeline on that basis.
- to develop medium-long term Sourcing Sustainability Strategies together with the responsible Category Managers (both direct and indirect) and ensure to align/adjust the strategy with the category strategies in order to balance a holistic and successful business direction from Strategic Sourcing that supports the overall Nilfisk sustainability goals while still keeping Nilfisk cost-competitive.
- to proactively collect new insights for improved product and process sustainability to utilize them in Nilfisk NSD process and (re)sourcing projects.
- to study and benchmark sustainable procurement practices which could be implemented into Nilfisk sourcing processes.
- to work out sourcing sustainability KPI’s to monitor and report the progress of sustainability initiatives and their impact as well as to monitor suppliers in terms of their sustainability performances
As your background, we are looking for:
- MSc or equivalent in Supply Chain, Economics, Business or Engineering
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Experience in sustainable procurement practices and/or participation in sustainability projects is an advantage.
- Good knowledge on Microsoft software’s (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Fluency in English
- SAP and SAP Ariba knowledge is an advantage.
