Technical Incident Manager

Are you at your best when coordinating and collaborating with others? Are you adept at communicating complex issues clearly and concisely. Do you have proven ability in technological incident and crisis management?
We’re looking for a Lead Incident Manager in our Open Telekom Cloud Operations Team to:

  • Be the central contact providing an overview of the production health of the platform
  • Provide incident and crisis management both internally and across teams
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with functional counterparts of other teams
  • Trend Incident and Problem ticket data to ensure that we have effective
  • Problem management in terms of reducing repeat Incident occurrence
  • Help define and refine the telemetry needed to monitor the services provided by your team
  • Understand the BCM capabilities for the most important platform elements and services and the parameters for invocation during Major Incidents

If you have…

  • Several years of experience within an enterprise-level IT operations organization
  • ITIL certification and experience as a service-, incident- or problem manager
  • Experience in managing IT incidents in a global, multi-stream environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills in connection with a solution-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of diverse technology solutions and services (networks, operating systems, infrastructure components, applications)
  • Excellent communication skills that allow you to interact on all levels
  • Ability to delegate and collaborate
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

  • Capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
  • Fluent in business English and able to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels
  • An excellent team player with a proactive, positive personality and "can-do" attitude
  • Flexible and able to remain calm in highly stressful environment
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize incidents accordingly
