JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our software development and deployment pipelines. In the first months you will be responsible for setting up the DevOps Environment for a new cloud based financial services platform that will be launched in 2024. In longer term you will be part of a regional team working on various projects to support the EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) IT organization and it’s clients.
DevOps Engineer (Azure)
Feladatok
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Terraform to design and implement infrastructure as code, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployment of resources on the Azure platform.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and maintain infrastructure templates for various environments.
Azure Cloud Services:
- Manage and optimize Azure services, including virtual machines, managed db, storage accounts, networking, and other platform services.
- Work with Azure DevOps/GitHub for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Monitoring & Alerting:
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions to support the operations team.
- Work with leading open source/enterprise solutions.
Containerization and Orchestration:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes in an Azure environment.
- Implement and maintain containerized applications for scalability and portability.
Configuration Management:
- Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) to manage and enforce configuration standards across various environments.
- Integrate database schema management into release pipelines.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications deployed on Azure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Elvárások
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure, Terraform, Ansible.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, automated DB operations and updates, and release management.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- MSSQL experience is a plus. COMPETENCIES:
- Relevant certifications in Azure and DevOps are a plus.
