GERMAN SPEAKING SENIOR GL ACCOUNTANT

Perform accounting activities impacting multiple finance stakeholders and different workstreams (Intercompany, Contract Assets/ Contract -Liabilities, Payroll, T&L accounting)
Perform judgmental based bookings and specific accruals
Perform closing related activities on a monthly basis (including the preparation of Manual Journal Entries and special accruals)
Coordinate daily with other SSC teams (AP, AR, GL)
Support the preparation of the monthly IFRS and annual financial statements in local GAAP/HGB
Prepare Account Reconciliations
Prepare financial reports required for analytical reviews
Support the preparation of the statutory financial statements with audit related documentation
Support the broader Finance Team in various projects

Completed studies with a focus on Finance & Accounting or relevant
Min. 3 years relevant experience in accounting Fluency in English and in German (both written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office (with a focus on Excel, experience handling large sets of data)
Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Flexibility and ability to work well with deadline
First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP, SAGE or another ERP system is a plus
