Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a global payroll compliance framework to support operations and business growth.
• Build and manage a global payroll compliance team from the ground up, ensuring its success and scalability.
• Guide payroll processes on employer reporting, withholding obligations, and statutory compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll audits and regulator inquiries.
• Mitigate risks by tracking and resolving compliance issues, including complex areas like stock-based compensation and global mobility.
• Develop a continuous learning program to upskill payroll teams.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure GDPR, data security, and broader compliance measures.
• Contribute to company-wide risk management as part of Risk and Governance Committee.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payroll compliance or a related field, with leadership experience.
• Proven track record of building and scaling new functions or frameworks.
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced industries, ideally tech.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and leadership.
• Commitment to innovation, process improvement, and automation.
