Ensure the high accuracy of daily and monthly security master data (e.g., maturity date, coupon, etc.), as well as pricing and analytics for securities and alternative assets.
Support benchmark security functions as required for daily and month-end processes.
Work closely with peers and other stakeholders, keeping them apprised of the status of issues and projects.
Complete thorough research on behalf of Data Operations and propose appropriate solutions.
Understand and be able to speak to all processes associated with Data Operations.
Perform business analysis to determine best practices within daily production/projects.
Continuous improvement mindset, improving data quality with a focus on customer service.
Participate and set high expectations of self on daily production and projects.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients and internal customers.
Support other functions as needed such as assurance of analytics (i.e. Duration, Yield, etc.…) quality as required for daily and month-end processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related fields.
3-5 years of related experience in the financial services industry or technical analysis (internships could be considered as experience)
Proven ability to collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties to understand customer needs and ensure positive outcomes for our clients.
Process improvement experience preferred, with the ability to recognize opportunities within my role.
Strong analytical, problem recognition and resolution, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
Excel – High proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Black Rock Aladdin Experience, preferred
Derivative Asset knowledge
Knowledge of Risk Analytics (i.e. WAL, Duration, yield)
