Regulatory Packaging Designer

Abacus Medicine is looking for a Packaging Designer with a strong background in design of packaging materials, preferably within product artwork.

Your responsibilities as Packaging Designer:

You will be part of Regulatory organization with more than 130 colleagues where both the individual responsibility and team work are very important. You will be responsible for creating packaging materials for medicines in cooperation with colleagues who are working marketing authorizations for parallel import in EU. Our aim is to also create efficient re-packaging methods for our productions sites and you will have a key role to reach higher level standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Work in cooperation with Regulatory Officers creating the necessary documents for parallel import licensing and re-packaging activities;
• Creation of packaging materials (label, carton, patient information leaflet, etc.);
• Maintain data and files of packaging materials;
• Create repackaging instructions for production;
• Create bill of materials for re-packaging medicines;
• Create a photo documentation about re-packaged sample of medicine prepared for licensing;
• Administrate your tasks in the department’s task management tool;
• Working in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop;
• Cooperation with printing houses, technical groups and production areas.

Furthermore, we expect that you:

• Have proven experience in a similar or relevant role;
• Have experience in packaging creation;
• Preferably have experience with printing houses;
• Use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop;
• Have a higher education degree;
• Fluent in English, at least at an intermediate level (written and verbal communication skills), because English must be used for our daily operations;
• Are very structured.
