Our international franchise partner, the largest retailer in its sector in Europe, is now building a new business center in Budapest.
As the organization is migrating over 150 positions to Hungary, the Transition Manager is going to coordinate and support the ramp-up and manage the transfer activities.
The position requires English and German knowledge and a willingness to travel.
Transition Manager
Tasks
- Support the ramp-up of a new organization of a leading German retailer in Germany&Hungary with about 200 employees in the target state within the next 2 years
- Manage the transfer activities from affected functions / locations in transition project
- Ensure collaboration between the business service center and affected functions / locations during transition project and manage disputes
- Develop and coordinate the transition project team
- Take responsibility for status (quality, time) and project cost tracking within the respective project
- Take responsibility for the analysis of affected processes together with the affected organizations
- Decide on an appropriate activity split together with the respective management and manage its realization
- Ensure the agreed transition approach is followed by the project team
- Conduct required transition management meetings
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or related studies
- Minimum of 5 years of practical working experience in managing complex transitions with a basic understanding of related functional areas; former experience with SSC projects beneficial but not required
- Experience in coordinating a (project) team
- Profound experience in project management
- Analytical skills, high degree of personal responsibility and self-reliance, good communications skills and assertiveness
- Strong commitment, motivation and high enthusiasm
- Hands-on mentality and fast customer-oriented problem-solving abilities
- Very good communication skills and team player with a good sense of different cultures
- Excellent English skills in speaking and writing (C1/2), solid knowledge of German required (B1/2)
- Willingness to travel multiple times a year
