Our Partner, a market leader Automotive Supplier in the Area of Miskolc is looking for an Direct Buyer who will be responsible for the following tasks:

Ensure the onboarding of suppliers
Drive ongoing supplier panel optimization and continuous improvement at plant level
Price follow-up, make sure the prices are up-to-date
Build up supplier strategy in locally managed commodities
Prepare and lead negotiations, ensuring contracts with locally managed suppliers
Monitor supplier’s performance (capacity – cost – delivery – quality) and take part in suppliers development programs
Maintain and lead material savings projects and support technical changes
Support Quality and Supply Chain teams in the plant in case of escalation process
Act with integrity and full respect of business ethics
Követelmények
Master/Bachelor’s Degree in economics / business or engineering
Proficient in English is a must, 2nd language is always desirable
Effectively using MS Office tools to improve daily work
A good understanding of automotive industry
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience in negotiations and contractual agreements
Capability to work in teams within international environment
Results orientation, analytical thinking, problem solving capability
