Our client is one of the leading investment banks in the world and for their growing professional team we are looking for a Junior Cyber Security Engineer.

Junior Cyber Security Engineer

Tasks

  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of Cisco ISE wired and wireless solutions, contributing to network access control and identity management initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of 802.1X authentication protocols to ensure secure network access.
  • Learn and contribute to the configuration and troubleshooting of TACACS and RADIUS protocols for authentication, authorization, and accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to integrate security solutions into the overall network architecture.
  • Contribute to security assessments and vulnerability analyses, under guidance, and participate in the implementation of recommended remediation strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and support security requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving technologies to support continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
  • Cisco 300-715 - Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine certification preferred
  • Basic understanding of network security principles and protocols.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in Cisco ISE, 802.1X, TACACS, and RADIUS.
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and willingness to collaborate within a team.
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a proactive approach to learning.
