Join our dynamic team at Paramount Networks International as an RTR Senior Expert in Programming & Project Accounting. We are seeking individuals with a passion for accurate and timely financial analysis and accounting. As an RTR Senior Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and timeliness of accounting and analysis for Paramount Programming Accounting transactions. Your responsibilities will include processing programming project data, managing budgets, handling invoices, and c

contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Process programming project and asset master data, including budget allocation.
  • Raise purchase orders for contractual obligations from license agreements.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices related to programming licenses.
  • Generate and analyze open purchase order reports to ensure accurate asset recording.
  • Create program payment schedules based on contract reviews.
  • Monitor missing What’sOn (WON) IDs for programming assets regularly.
  • Load amortization data from staging tables to SAP.
  • Perform reclassification of amortization across brands.
  • Determine and record short-term/long-term asset and liability reclassifications.
  • Prepare and park journal entries.
  • Process disposals for fully amortized acquired program assets.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations for programming assets and obligations.
  • Prepare program asset and liability account roll forwards and support financial statement disclosures.
  • Check and adjust monthly amortization postings for fixed assets and leases.
  • Confirm lease purchase orders, perform roll-forward reporting, and reconcile accounts.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany/related party programming schedules.
  • Maintain commitments and contingencies schedules.
  • Participate in the monthly KPI or Metrics cycle.
  • Recommend process improvements for team efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, education, and training to less senior team members.
  • Assist with ad hoc Paramount and internal management requests.
  • Ensure compliance with key controls, internal policies, and Sarbanes Oxley rules..

 

Requirements:

 

  • BS/MSc in Accounting/Finance.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP/IFRS).
  • Track record of process improvement.
  • Leadership in process projects.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
