Responsibilities:
• Leads projects to implement MOL Group’s and MOL IT&D GBS’s strategic initiatives related to IT investments and application developments ensuring delivery according to required standards.
• Responsible for delivering projects in alignment with business requirements and within defined budget framework and timeline. Responsible to manage and control project scope.
• Responsible to follow and ensure application of MOL project management methodologies and standards throughout the project lifecycle and ensure project management deliverables meet required quality criteria.
• Leads implementation of complex changes related to strategic IT systems by applying innovative IT solutions and best practices, leads implementation of process changes translated into developments and aligns those changes with identified stakeholders.
• Leads project teams from internal IT, business and external partners’ side being responsible for implementation. Coordinates decision making process of related organisations and business areas, as well as involves senior and top level management in relevant decision making procedure and to ensure availability of required resources. Responsible to define risk, issue and escalation management procedures to be applied on the project and to involve management in matrix organisations.
• Provides continuous progress analysis according to technical specifications, budget plan, business and legal requirements and project schedule towards Steering Committee of senior management stakeholders and Group level top management. Cooperates to ensure effective communication throughout the organisation and to ensure knowledge transfer channels.
• Ensures definition and set up of operational support process for new applications and manages handover of system changes to IT Application Operations organisations.
• Follows up implementation results, provides input for internal resource and external vendor performance evaluation and proposes new or enhanced processes and procedures.
• Coordinates stream leaders of the projects, proposes stream leader allocation to project based on skills and availability, ensures project resource planning is up to date and accurate.
• Has general overview on projects belonging to own program, follows progress and provides professional support and guidance to stream leaders to identify risks and avoid, lessen issues and negative impacts.
Requirements:
• University/College degree
• 10+ years relevant experience in project work and/or IT area
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Structured thinking and analytical skills
• Result orientation, effective time and task management
• The ability and willingness to learn quickly and apply new knowledge and skills,
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• International PM Certificate is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies and implementations are advantage
• Proactive working style
