Tax and Accounting Expert

Tasks

  • Supervise the accounting and taxation activities of the company
  • Preparation of tax returns and other tax related activities 
  • Coordinate and perform year-end financial closing and reporting activities
  • Preparation of Annual Report according to Hungarian GAAP, statutory and fiscal regulation
  • Process tax inquiries, audits, communication with Tax authorities 
  • Communicate with auditors, lawyers and local authorities
  • Other statutory reporting (Statistics, National Bank)
  • Provide tax advice to business
  • Follow-up changes in legislation

Requirements

  • Relevant studies and registered Chartered Accountant status
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax legislation 
  • 5+ years relevant tax and accounting experience
  • Registration in Tax Office for submission of tax returns electronically
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP FI module
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Advanced level of English language
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solution oriented, proactive attitude

Nice to have:

  • Experience in multinational environment
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
