Tech People is a European provider of technical skills permanent recruitment and temporary contracting services for multiple industries. 

Our client is a multinational company that is, among other activities, providing their clients with IT solutions on many fields.

We are now searching for a:



  • Advice on technical procedures for the project
  • Detecting technical-logical relationships in the analysis of errors in daily processing and their cleanup
  • Advice, coordination and clarification of the procedure for decentralized connections
  • Implementation of the requirements according to the RZ manual
  • Creation, modification of JCL using job control generator for IMS, DB2 and batch programs (BMP and DLI)
  • Logging Jobs into Checkpoint Database (IMS / DB2)
  • Database Recovery
  • Networking jobs in OPC / ESA
  • Performing a system test
  • Job tuning / initiation of appropriate measures
  • Use of JCL via job control application procedure
  • Use of programs by means of program deployment procedures
  • Deadline monitoring for production use
  • Data protection and disaster preparedness
  • Remote data transmission to distributed systems (client / server)
  • Quality assurance of the projects to be used

Area of responsibility:

  • COBOL batch, Delete mainframe applications


  • English intermediate
  • Graduated, min. 6-8 years experience
  • Experienced IT specialist for consultative and operational support in work preparation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of decentralized connections
  • Very good knowledge of JCL creation
  • Database systems IMS and DB2
  • Job Control Systems OPC / ESA
  • Database and z / OS utilities
  • Dial-up tools (Connect-Direct, FTP)
  • REXX knowledge
  • Comprehensive, broad-based knowledge and its safe application in practice
  • Is able to network his knowledge and experience and independently develop new solutions
  • Works independently with a large scope for action / decision-making within the given framework
  • Practical experience with the XINFO repository
