Headquarter Financial Accountant


You will be a key member of the European RTR Team by reporting to the local Financial Accounting Team Leader.
Your job will be to provide accounting support for the headquarter and maintain the Accounts Payable and General Ledger activities, as well as ensure the month end closing and treasury activities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the success transition from entities
- Guarantee liquidity, match facilities to business needs through effective direct cash-flow forecasting and fx management
- Performing daily/weekly/monthly reports and reconciliations
- Investigating/correcting differences (bank, Intercompany, transit, transfer account reconciliation)
- Payment processing on ebanking platforms
- Completing manual booking tasks –such as journal vouchers, bank bookings, revaluation, Depreciation,fixed assets and intercompany invoicing/netting/reconciliation activities
- Actively participate in continous improvement projects in order to meet and/or exceed the deparment objectives
- Support the new ERP implementation and proceed UAT tasks
- Timely delivery of accounting and reporting activities
- Establish good relationship with the HQ local finance teams


- BA degree in the field of finance/accounting and any field of economics
- 2-5 years of experience within finance, preferably AP or any field of RTR
- Fluent English skills both in writtern and spoken
- Solid understanding of the accounting principles
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Team player attitude, however able to work independently in a role
- Attention to accuracy and detail and ability to meet priorities and deadlines
- Strong MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel
- Chartered Accountant certification is an advantage
- Experience in using small – or mid size ERP systems
